College Board -- the people who created and administer the SAT -- has decided to do more than just torment students with another standardized test. It's put together a really cool scholarship search app called "Big Future" that's super user friendly. Enter as much information about yourself as you can (seriously -- more is better here), and the program will search through more than 2,200 scholarship programs and let you know which ones for which you might be a good candidate.

The website then searches through its more than 2 million scholarships and gives you a list of matches. You can then organize your list of scholarships to help keep you on point as you go through the application process.

This is a straight-up list
of Colorado-specific
scholarships. All kinds
of schools, private foundations, etc. Awards range from $500 to $10,000.
Here are a few scholarships that are sponsored by the Aurora Public Schools Foundation, including the Crowley Scholarship (a $2,500 award for students with a 2.7 GPA and who have performed community service). These guys do a lot more than just these three, though, so be sure to talk to your guidance counselor about any APSF scholarships that are available.
